AI compute & orchestration infrastructure research

Hermes Research Fabric

Concept validation

Research into a compute and orchestration backbone for deploying physical-AI cognition systems reliably at the edge and in research environments.

Research objective

Infrastructure that keeps up with the cognition layer.

Related applications

Supporting physical AI and robotics research.

Hermes Research Fabric investigates compute and orchestration needs relevant to ATHENA, ARES, and advanced robotic applications. Research questions include distributing bounded workloads, handling intermittent connectivity, and preserving the information a human operator needs to assess system behavior.

This is supporting infrastructure research; integrated robotic performance remains to be established through project-specific testing.
